The 25th Anniversary Celebration honoring the partnership between The Youth Arts Academy and BAM/Dance Africa’s 25 years journey together. 

The Billie will host the 25th Annual Community Day Celebration on May 21, 2022 from 1 pm – 3 pm on Restoration Plaza for a day of music, dance, spoken word, and a celebration of family and community.

This year’s program will include an awards ceremony honoring past and present instructors, parent volunteers, administrators, ambassadors as well as a special performance by past alumni members of Dance Africa and current members of the institution’s Youth Arts Academy and more. The DanceAfrica Council of Elders will pay homage to the ancestors with a procession.

This event is free and open to the public. All are welcomed to participate!
