Our Open Casket to the World is a 200-page hardcover publication capturing the making of the ‘Black Lives Matter’ Mural in Bed-Stuy. Featuring over 300 photos and commentary exploring a community’s resolve to find healing and justice amid a nation in crisis.

7PM: An in depth conversation of the beauty and pain that came out of the Black Lives Matter movement moderated by WQXR host, Terrance McKnight.

Cey Adams, legendary visual artist and founding creative director of Def Jam Recordings

Robert Cornegy, former New York City Council Member representing Bedford-Stuyvesant

8:30PM: Reception: Book signing and meet the panelists and authors.

TICKETING:

$75 Ticket: Includes reception, signed book, and conversation.

$20 Ticket: Entry to the reception and conversation but no copy of the book. If you want to purchase the book at the event you will only pay $55.

$5 Ticket: Includes entry to the the conversation and exhibition ONLY.
