Restoration Rocks

The Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation (Restoration) and The Billie Holiday Theatre present a weekend of live event experiences with the return of the popular outdoor series – RestorationROCKS!
RestorationROCKS! will be held on Restoration Plaza on Saturday, October 9th from 12pm – 6pm followed by the 10K/5K Run the next day on Sunday, October 10th beginning at 10am.
Now in its 15th year, RestorationROCKS! has become the ultimate Block Party for the community celebrating the people, arts, culture, and entertainment that make the Bed-Stuy neighborhood world-renowned.
This year’s program will spotlight the importance of the DJ and will feature some of New York’s biggest master mixers on multiple stages on the Plaza including DJ Rich Medina, DJ Reborn, DJ Hard Hittin Harry, DJ Taela Naomi, DJ Sabine and DJ Stormin Norman. There will also be spoken word performances by acclaimed poets Derrick Cross, Clyla Destiny, Mic Murphy “The System” and David Mills.
