Sky’s The Limit: Style Is Our Resistance is a celebration of fashion, culture, and creativity! Join us at The Billie Holiday Theatre for a day filled with runway shows, pop-up shops, and live music.
Sky’s The Limit: Style Is Our Resistance takes a look at how clothing has played an integral part in our surviving and thriving as a people: Clothing reflects our joy, resistance and determination as we turn clothes to fashion statements. We will not be ignored: we will be seen, celebrated and acknowledged. This exhibition explores our style through sculpture, painting and photography as a form of resistance. We will continue to explore the theme that to know the truth about the oppress, one must look into their art.
This exhibition opens on June 27 with all pieces available for sale. Show runs for three months.
